Fees & Rebates

Here is what you need to know before you reach out.

Getting started

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting. Lauren's practice is designed to make that step as straightforward and welcoming as possible.

    Do you need a referral?

You don't need a referral to book with Empowering Pathways Psychology. You can reach out directly for a private or coaching appointment.

However, if you would like to access a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP before your first session.

    Complete the intake process

Contact Lauren to enquire about your needs and confirm availability.

Lauren will confirm your first appointment and provide a link to an online intake form, which will request your contact information, payment details, and (if relevant) Mental Health Care Plan.

Please complete the intake process at least 72 hours before your first appointment.

  • A beige starburst-shaped sticker or badge with no text or additional features.

    Your first session

There is no need to come prepared with a script. Lauren will guide you through the process.

Together, you will explore what has brought you here, your history and current concerns, and what you would like to change.

At the end of the first session, you will collaboratively agree on therapeutic goals and a plan for working toward them.
