We provide treatment under the Australian Government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. With a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) you are eligible for a rebate in up to 10 sessions per calendar year. See your GP to get a MHCP before you book your appointment with Empowering Pathways Psychology. Inform the reception staff as they may need you to book an extended GP appointment. Please note that Coaching sessions area not eligible for Medicare rebates.

Payment is required at the time of your session via Halaxy (credit or debit card). As we are an online service, cash is not accepted.

Cancellations after 5 PM the day before your appointment: Full appointment fee applies.

Cancellations before 5 PM the day before your appointment (within 48 hours): Cancellation fee of $120 applies.

There is no Medicare rebate for cancellation fees.

Future appointments will be suspended until outstanding fees are paid in full.

There are some private health insurers that allow you to claim rebates. Check with your private health care provider first to see if you are eligible and if you are you can claim directly with your insurer after your session. You can't use your private health insurance if you are using Medicare rebates.

Standard Session Fee: $255 per session

Payment Process: Payment is required upfront. Clients must seek reimbursement from WorkSafe or TAC after each session. This may result in a gap fee.

BlueHub is a dedicated psychological service designed to support police officers dealing with trauma and mental health challenges. Delivered by TPAV in collaboration with independent trauma specialists, BlueHub provides expert assessment and treatment for current Victoria Police and Victorian-based AFP members. Our goal is to ensure that those who serve and protect receive the care and support they need to navigate the impacts of trauma and maintain their well-being.
